Centuries

Centuries are a hardcore punk band from Florida. I met them in Utah and then got to see them again two days in a row in Florida. I was super impressed by their energy and how tight everything was. Their live shows are sick because they are so fucking loud, and they are really nice guys. I guess they have been a band for a while now, and at one point someone from Osceola played drums for them. Now one of the dudes who used to be in Glocca Mora plays drums. They have these shirts that have pictures from some exorcism or some shit, and it is the sickest shirt I have seen in years. Act like I didn't get one.

Centuries are the heaviness. Sort of chuggy, but not really. Lots of low end. Its like hardcore riffs and tone at punk pace, I guess. If that makes sense. I don't really care if it doesn't. Some of their stuff is almost METAL, which is tight. If you like heavy dark moshy headbanging stuff then download all the albums below. The splits only have the Centuries songs, so sorry about that. Nightmares is older. Check it out, support them if you can. Word.

Orlock

Orlock, not to be confused with Graf Orlock, was a female fronted screamo band from Richmond, VA. They were around in the late '90s and someone in this band went on to be in Song of Zarathustra. I could only find two of their releases, but I think that might be their entire catalog.

Orlock played some pretty tight dark hardcore. The vocals are sick as fuck. Orlock is anything to fucking amazing, but they are a solid hardcore band. I really like this band because, aside from playing awesome heavy shit, they also have a good amount of weird noisy stuff going on.  For example, the song "Imposter" is like four and a half minutes, but the first three minutes are noise and field recordings. All of the recordings are kind of low quality, but it suits the songs well. In my opinion the second album is the superior, but both releases are really tight. Check it out. Word.

Junior Healy

Jr. Healy is a kind of mathy screamy band from Gainesville, Florida. We got to play twice with them in Florida and they were really good both nights. I was hella impressed. Their drummer has one of the coolest drum setups I have ever seen: he plays like half left-handed and it looks awesome. Everyone in this band is hella good at their instruments and have such a tight live set. I' having a hard time describing their music, just because it isn't really hard, but it isn't exactly chill. Its mathy post-hardcore, and its sick as fuck. Please check this band out, they are really dope dudes. Word.

Lyburnum

Lyburnum is a hardcore band from LA. They are a two piece who share a drummer with Ten Thousand Leagues. They are pretty heavy and dark, but have a good bit of sceamo and punk influence. I really like their EP or demo or whatever, especially they last two songs. Just really great moshing music. They are going on tour with Ten Thousand Leagues, which starts really soon (dates here), so go check them out. Stoked on this band. Word.

My Cat Died Where The Sidewalk Ends

My Cat Died Where The Sidewalk Ends is a chaotic hardcore band from Salt Lake City. I met them this summer and they were sick. Pretty really original. Fast and all over the place, with nice song structure and loud/soft dynamics. I have their demo below, which although being pretty rough still sounds sick. They have a girl vocalist, just thought I'd mention that as well. I really liked these guys, and they were really nice. Some of the people in this band are in like two other bands that were on tour, and we got to play with those bands in Texas. One of the other bands is called Treehouse, I forget the other band and feel like an asshole. Please check it out and stuff, word.

NAH - END

Pootie done did it again!

NAH is mike from 1994! He plays solo drums stuff, with rap stuff and  heavyish stuff. Its sick. He just did a new album, END, and is touring with Joint Chiefs of Math. END is being sold on tour with a VHS of 9 music videos or something bonkers like that. Go see him live. He is also playing GNARFEST with like half the good bands in the world. Doing the circle of death, I think. Spooky. Support NAH, its cool. Word, word.

I.Corrupt Double Feature - Locktender / Brighter Arrows + Sarg

I.Corrupt records has been so busy latley. They have put out some good records in the past, and now they are releasing two killer records. I'm going to be lazy right now and just copy/paste some of the email the dude sent me, just because im eating some ham loaf. I listened to both of these releases and they are really good. Locktender is one of my favorite bands right now, and I got to see/play with them in Ohio. They rip it so fucking hard, and are the nicest dudes ever. That band is proof that you can grow up and have a dad life and still be down. I think they are in Europe? Either they are or they just got back, but I hope they had fun. Brighter Arrows are really cool too, although I have only listened to them like one or twice before this split. Shit is so good, one of the best splits I have heard in a while. I had never listened to SARG before, but I like it. I think that most of yall will enjoy it also. Anyways, copy/pasta below. Word.

SARG - SLOW REVENGE
SARG's long-awaitet debut effort 'Slow Revenge' is finally out now as a 7"-vinyl. Influenced by the words of Klaus Kinski the band delivers six massive songs within eight minutes. This is fast and aggressive Hardcore-Punk which friends of Cursed, Trap Them and Converge shouldn't miss!

LOCKTENDER / BRIGHTER ARROWS
On this split 10" LOCKTENDER deliver one epic, long and heavy hardcore song expanding over more than ten minutes which leaves your ears bleeding and your mouth wide open of disbelief.
BRIGHTER ARROWS just continue the tradition of midwestern mid-90s Emo with beautiful melodies, passionate lyrics and a lot goosebumps.

Wild Moth - Mourning Glow EP

Wild Moth is a post punk band from San Francisco, whom I have talked about before when they released their demo. They recently put out this 7-inch, The Mourning Glow EP, on Asian Man Records. You can buy it now, and you should. I saw them play in Sacramento about a month ago and they played some of these new jams, all of which rip. This band is so fucking good, I'm even wearing a WM shirt right now. Shit rules, check it out. Four songs on the digital version, if you buy the 7 inch it has two songs on it, plus the digital b-sides. Word.

мища Tour CD

So we just got back from our US tour, shit was bananas. We had to skip out on the WV and VA dates, and we are really bummed about that, but other than that shit was amazing. We met so many awesome people, stayed at great places and played with some really killer bands. We love all of you, really. We made this cd for our tour, and I wanted to throw it up on here. The cd is collection of all the songs we recorded with Mike York. It has our songs from our splits with We Were Skeletons, Innards, and Te Lloraria un Puto Rio, as well as two other songs that are going to be on various compilations and stuff. The artwork is the x-ray of James' fucked up foot.

Since we ran out of money we made a big cartel thingy so people can buy our stuff online. There are two of them actually: we have an independent one, and then we also threw some stuff up on the Unity Through Harmony big cartel as well.

Now that tour is over I can chug more, so expect more stuff soon. Word.
