NEW RAEIN LP - SULLA LINEA D'ORIZZONTE TRA QUESTA MIA VITA E QUELLA DI TUTTI

Raein has just released their new full length LP, Sulla Linea D'orizzonte Tra Questa Mia Vita e Quella Di Tutti for free download on their website. The European version of the LP will be released sometime next week and be available on the band's Eastern European tour. A US release is soon to follow. The band has continued to progress forward in the vein of Nati da Altri Padri, the band's previous EP release. There's been a lot of things said about this band, so I'll just put up the LP and let it speak for itself.

Daïtro

Daïtro is a screamo band from France who decided to take to call it quits (for now) after their most recently full length, "Y", was released last year. They are/were one of the more well know European Screamo bands who played a more melodic style of music in contrast other popular skramz bands in the area like Mihai Edrisch (both bands share the same drummer). Daitro released a handful of albums and splits and were featured on This Is Your Life and The Emo Armageddon compilations. Below is everything. Here is a video of them playing "Laissez Vivre Les Squelettes".

Funeral Diner

Funeral Diner was a screamo band that encompassed punk, melodic hardcore and emo music to create a legendary sound that has influenced a good number of your favorite bands. They were from the general San Francisco area and were active from '98 to '08. In their ten years as screamo royalty they put out like 20 releases and toured Japan, Europe and The United States. Amongst other bands, the dudes in Funeral Diner played/play in ...Who Calls So Loud, Takaru, Portraits of Past, and Nexus Six. Below is everything that they put out except for an album called "Three Sides Dead", which is a compilation of their songs on their splits with Staircase, The Shivering, and Nexus Six, as well as a compilation called "Inspiration From Forest". They also have a song on The Emo Apocolypse. Heres a live video of "My Fists Smell Like Graveyards".

Native & Raein

Today I decided to upload two albums form bands that we have already done posts on. Its Halloween and I'm about to get my wine on, so I'm going to make this really short.
First, Native has released a new record, and we have it available for download. It is out on Sergent House Records and is called "Wrestling Moves", you should buy it if you enjoy it. Second, seeing as Raein is coming to the states in about a month I thought it would be cool to post a Raein cd that I have but didn't put up when we did our Raein post. It has a remix of "From 3 to 1 in 2 and 4" and an untitled song. Both of these songs are pretty electronic but they still rule. If you get the chance, go see Raein when they come to some select cities, or even better, go see them in Chicago with Native!

La Quiete

La Quiete is an incredible screamo band from Italy. They share a drummer with Raein and are currently touring in Australia. I can't think of anything to write about this band that will do them any justice, but if you have never heard of LAQ you really need to get on that. It has taken me a very long time to collect these albums, and i still do not have all of their material. A good portion of their stuff is splits/compilations, but they do have some full lengths and eps. I do not have the following:
1. Verso La Fine. Benefit Compilation Against Morini Breeding.
2. Memento Mori
Here is a video of the song "Metempsicosi Del Fine Ultimo:Nevrastenica Oscillazione Fra Poli Estremi" being played in Cooksville, Tennessee.
