Native

EDIT: THE LINK IN THIS THREAD IS DEAD. FIND THE THREAD CALLED "OOPS" TO FIND THE RE-POST.

Native is a band from Indiana who are currently touring the U.S. I was planning on seeing them in Baltimore when they came through but burned out. Their newest release, the "We Erase; Delete EP" is dancy as fuck, yet strangely reminiscent of all those "skramz" and mathy bands you love too. With weird chanted vocals and awesome finger tapping Native brings a truly original sound.

On a side note, all their members look vaguely similar on the verge of creepiness. Regardless, this shit fucking rules.

When checking out this blag of a blog I have concluded that, beneath it all, the work betrays the author's staggering ignorance of the history and the workings of mathcore. While the author's wildly swerving train of thought did at one point flirt with coherence, this brief encounter was more likely a chance event than a result of even rudimentary lucidity.

P.S. DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE NEW SEASON OF THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES THIS FALL ON FOX!

That Walryus dude is cool as shit. He showed himself to be completely without control of his own language, during an attempt to be pretentious Oh, the irony. Check out them syntaxez. Check out them pazzive voicez. Check out them tenze issuez.
Wal-e is obviously either still in high school, or about to drop out of community college.

Keep Chuggin', boys. It's about the music, not about the dicks that think they know it better than you. (Or apparently the dicks that think they can think better than you?)

and "mathxcore"? Puhlease, wal. Sarahconnor4lyfe.
Balls to the walryus.

Oh the paradox and sarcasm of the bear. Surely your hudibrastic satire proves your cunning. I can't do this the bear is a class act, she knows her audience, she knows exactly what she's doing. Her writing continues to astound day after day at the hookah lounge. I can just see her reading my uncultured swill masquerading as her florid prose. But she's not angry, no. She's sitting at her computer desk smiling that condescending half-smile the corner of her mouth belying the self assurance of a writer who never misplaces a word. Her soft hands rest easily on the keyboard, her right thumb caressing the space bar gently, as I enter the room. She knows I'm there without turning around, and I'm too nervous to speak. But I don't have to; She understands. I can see it in the way her eyes play over me, reading my fears and doubts in a glance and washing them away with a knowing smile. Then she's on her feet, she's in front of me, and I don't feel the electric jolt I expected as our hands meet. It's just warm, warm and right.

Plagiarizing Penny Arcade Comics (http://xkcd.com/160/) and changing your pronouns to avoid detection doesn't make you any more civilized or intellectual. I have a feeling you weren't 'quoting' out of irony, as your first post relates more to the initial fun-poking purpose of the comic.

Let's call it quits. Wals, I'm sure I'll see you around soon.

And C&R... Sorry your blog has been a source of drama. Hope this trend continues. It will make the whole 'blog' experience more fulfilling.
