Dude you are skipping the northwest what the fuck.
Knoxville has four main small venues: The Poison Lawn (house), the Longbranch Saloon (shitty bar, not sure how they are on shows these days), the Pilot Light (bar) and the Groundswell Collective (collective space, though they may be having shows elsewhere--they're pretty new). All of them are on facebook. Try hooking up with the guys from Killer Whale, they should be able to help (killerwhale.tn@gmail)
