Mahria is an amazing Canadian female-fronted screamo band. I got to spend three days with them and it was so much fun. No gods no bass players. They are going to be busy in the future with a hand full of releases, so get stoked. When I get them I will make sure to share. Please check these guys out, they rule so hard. Word.

Lizards Have Personalities

Lizards Have Personalities are a screamo/ post hardcore band from Lawrence, Kansas. They sound alot like some of the French screamo bands from the last like 10 years. I dig it alot. Saw them in 2009 and homeboy played an acoustic Saetia cover.

Their sound is real melodic and powerful. I love Andrew's vocals. Speaking of Andrew, he is one of the more active dudes over at Skream Your Lungs Out, in case you didn't know about that. Anyways, I dig this group because they are as talented as serious bands but seem to keep it low key like garage bands and shit. You can tell that they are playing shit that they want to play but it still sounds real good. It gets pretty scremotional. Their songs are generally dark sounding, you know. Also have respect for these guys because they are hard up on that split tip.

I feel like I should say more about this band but I'm really fucking hungry. Below is all of their stuff, download it all! The band is all about free downloads and shit so eat it up. They have records I think, I know they actually have physical releases on labels. Go buy that shit. They normally work with dope bands. Dig it.

I joined a cult. One of these dudes is also a member. Mad respect is deserved due to the amount of splits Todos Caerán has out. Canadian Skrumz from Canada. Sounds pretty dope, doing the whole heavy melodic thing. Listen to their shit in chronological order because you can hear how they matured and stuff. I like their side of the split with Mahria alot. The split with Gumilinski fucking rules because Gumilinski are the shit. Heard of this band before the cult, but I never really listened to them a whole lot. Sleeping alot. Also, uh, I have more time on my hands for the next few days so I want to pay more attention to Chug. Half the reason I havn't been doing much is because I havn't been that stoked on anything. I check out blogs sometimes but alot of the stuff I see is the same stuff that is in my inbox. Vain, maybe, but I don't want to post stuff thats on a shit ton of other blogs.
